Juno Beach Office:

Restore Your Smile with Dentures
At our practice, we believe dentistry is all about smiles. A confident, healthy, and natural-looking smile is important—even for patients who wear dentures. That’s why we offer personalized denture services tailored to each patient’s unique needs and comfort. Every set of dentures we create is custom-designed to look natural, feel comfortable, and help you smile with confidence.
All About Dentures
Dentures are removable, natural-looking replacement teeth. They come in two types: full dentures, which replace all teeth, and partial dentures, which replace only some missing teeth.
- Full Dentures – These are used when all natural teeth are missing. Conventional full dentures are fitted after the gums have fully healed, which can take several months. Immediate full dentures are placed right after tooth removal and may need frequent adjustments during the first few months.
- Partial Dentures – These attach to a metal framework that connects to your remaining natural teeth, filling in the spaces left by missing teeth. Partial dentures offer a removable alternative to dental bridges.
Am I a Good Candidate for Dentures?
Dentures aren’t the right solution for everyone. If you’re curious about dentures and want to see if they’re a good fit for you, schedule a consultation with us. Our team will answer all your questions and help determine the best treatment plan to maintain your long-term dental health.
Maintaining Your Dentures
Like natural teeth, dentures need daily care to stay clean and prevent bacteria buildup. Follow these tips to keep your dentures and your smile healthy:
- Handle with care: Always hold your dentures over a folded towel or a sink filled with water to prevent damage if they are dropped.
- Brush daily: Dentures can collect plaque and tartar, so brush all surfaces gently with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse them after every meal to keep them clean between brushings.
- Use gentle cleansers: Avoid regular toothpaste or harsh household cleaners. Use mild hand or dish soap, or ADA-approved denture cleaners. Ask our team if you’re unsure which products are safe for your dentures.
- Keep them moist: Store dentures in water or a denture-soaking solution when not in use to prevent drying, warping, or cracking. Some dentures require specific solutions, so check with our team for guidance.
- Care for your mouth: Even with full dentures, clean your gums and tongue daily with a soft-bristled brush to maintain healthy oral tissues.
If your dentures break, contact our office and schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Ill-fitting or damaged dentures can irritate your gums and mouth. Don’t forget to keep up with regular dental checkups every six months to maintain a healthy, comfortable smile for years to come.
