Advanced Tooth Crown Solutions
Dental crowns are cosmetic restorations designed to strengthen damaged teeth and improve their shape and appearance. They are commonly used for teeth that are cracked, worn down, or significantly affected by decay.
A crown is permanently cemented onto the existing tooth, completely covering the portion above the gum line. Once placed, it functions as the tooth’s new outer surface. Crowns can be made from porcelain, metal, or a combination of both. Porcelain crowns are often preferred because they closely resemble natural teeth while providing excellent durability.

Situations That Require Crowns or Onlays
Crowns or onlays (partial crowns) are recommended when a tooth no longer has enough strength to support a filling. Unlike fillings, which are placed directly into the tooth during your visit, crowns are custom-made outside the mouth.
Each crown is crafted in a dental laboratory using an impression of your tooth. This allows the technician to evaluate your bite and jaw movement in detail. The crown is then carefully shaped to ensure proper function and a natural bite once it is placed.
